The Direct Marketing Association estimates that 22 million pieces of direct mail are sent to dead people annually. Deceased processing enables mailers to eliminate deceased individuals from their mailings prior to a promotion. The annoyance to members of the deceased’s household with unwanted mail is prevented. Our file contains over 40 million deceased individuals, usually resulting in identifying 1% to 3% of the file as deceased. The mailer will benefit from an improved response rate, lower costs, and an improvement of the company’s image by minimizing mailings to deceased individuals.
Prison file is compiled from records obtained from correctional departments, probation and parole authorities. We suppress addresses of all Federal Prisons, State Prisons, County Correctional Facilities and City Jails … eliminating risky and unprofitable prospects from your mailing list(s) saving you time and money!
Avoid mailing to uninterested recipients by suppressing individuals who have registered with the Direct Marketing Association because they prefer not to receive advertising mail and/or solicitation phone calls.
The DMA Do-Not-Mail list is updated monthly and distributed four times a year – January, April, July and October. Names remain on file for five years. The match percentage will vary on the accuracy and age of the data in your list.
